Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

Upon arrival time at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport, you will be met and greeted by an African Adventure Specialists’ Representative and transferred to the Fairmont the Norfolk for rest and overnight stay. An optional dinner can be arranged at an extra cost.

In respect to your flight arrival, you have an option for the Nairobi City Excursions. You will visit the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage Trust (subject to availability) and learn how orphaned baby elephants and rhinos are bottle-fed and re-introduced back to the wild. Visit the Giraffe centre sanctuary and hand-feed the gentle endangered Rothschild giraffes. By breeding them, they are then reintroduced into the wild. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the author of “Out of Africa” movie. Lunch will later be served at the Karen Blixen Museum Coffee Gardens.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After a leisurely morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and driven to your Kenya safari accommodation for the next three night. The Mara is one of the iconic wildlife regions of the African continent and has abundant plains game and one of the largest Lion populations. Dinner and overnight in the Entim Mara camp.

Day 3: Explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5. Take full advantage of what the Mara has to offer. Choose from a wide range of activities including the optional hot air balloon safari that can be arranged at an extra cost. Fly high up in the skies and have a view of the landscape below which is a never-ending exciting mixture of riverine forests, sprawling savannahs, towering escarpments and rugged rivers. Against a backdrop of stunning sunrises giving, you a unique vantage point of the abundant wildlife living below.

Birding can also be done throught the year with the reserve having a record of over 570 species of birds, with more than 50 bird species of prey which include: Eagles, vultures, storks and many others.

The Mara is one of the most famous ecosystems in the world and with reason, this huge expansion is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife, difficult to believe, over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You might be lucky to see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes, and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.

In dramatic fashion, catch thousands of the great wildebeest, zebras, antelopes and elands, followed by gazelles as they cross over returning to their breeding grounds from Serengeti-Tanzania to Maasai Mara-Kenya between the months of July and October. Dinner and overnight stay at Entim Mara Camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Amboseli National Park

In the morning you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip and fly to one of the most scenic Kenya safari parks – Amboseli via Wilson Airport in Nairobi. On arrival you will be met by a representative from the camp and driven to the Kenya safari accommodation where you will spend the next two nights. In the afternoon you will be taken on a guided nature walk in the Amboseli concession area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5-6: Explore Amboseli National Park

Full day spent game viewing starting with a morning and afternoon game drive in search of the big herds of the African Elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and maasai giraffes in the background of the magnificent snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. The wild here is supported by the Swamp vegetation and the Lake Amboseli. After the game drives you have an option of unwinding your day at the swimming pool.

You may also opt to have an early morning balloon safari. Fly high up in the skies and have a view of the landscape below which is a never-ending exciting mixture of riverine forests, sprawling savannahs and towering escarpments. Against a backdrop of stunning sunrises and the Mount Kilimanjaro giving you a unique vantage point of the abundant wildlife living below. Later dinner and overnight stay at the Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi - Depart

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the nearest airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the JKIA airport for your flight back home or onward arrangements.
